The troops were dropped from the sky and landed on the beaches, and a fierce battle ensued. However it was just a start. In the summer of 1944 a million soldiers would clash in northern france as the allies tried to breakout from the D-Day beachead.
Wishing our community a fine June 6, 2022 D-day, Pfingstmontag, and National Sweden Day. Thank you to everyone who came out for the D-Day event and wishing everyone a great summer. #YouMaketheDifference
